What do you read?

Even though someone else has done it before, that doesnt meant I dont want to try it. Invariably I will find a way to do it differently. Or better. And sometimes worse. Was in a dark room the other day trying to get some stuff from the photographers formulary to work. It didnt. Or it didnt give the full range of pure black to lilly white. Maybe I did it wrong. Or maybe the chemicals were just old. But I got something that I didnt know how to get before. Or knew I could do. It came out ethereal, and dream-like. There is something to it all. The measuring. The mixing. The experimentation....
